For now though, i'm very happy with my purchase, and would definitely recommend this to anyone who is tired of how traditional shampoos and conditioners treat their hair.

Keep in mind though, this is just from my first use, If It starts to work differently I'll come back and update this. This is one area I expected it to fall short of expectations, but i'm happy to say it did not.Īll in all, it seems to do what it claims (which is rather rare for a hair product in my experience).

My hair color doesn't seem to have faded any substantial amount (unlike with even "color safe" shampoos where I can see a notable difference). My hair seems less frizzy (without the use of other "de-frizzing" products), which isn't something I was expecting, but is greatly appreciated. If it does do this it's to a much lesser degree). My hair turned out clean, and genuinely soft without feeling like it's coated in something (other conditioners coat your hair in wax to get that "soft" feel, I didn't feel that with this. The scent is actually very nice (not at all over-powering like I was afraid of) and doesn't have that cheap "rose" scent other rose-scented soaps/shampoos have. I've only used it once so far, but i'm very impressed. The other reviews managed to convince me to buy it, however, and I'm glad that I did. I was a bit iffy on this at first, I don't typically like rose-scented things, and I had never used a cleansing conditioner before. Herbal Essences Color Me Happy Cleansing conditioner Panteen Color Preserve Cleansing conditioner (nice scent, didn't make my hair greasy, but not as soft as Wen or the HE either)

Loreal Evercream Sulfate Free Cleansing conditioner (was for dry hair, made my hair greasy) I've tried these other cleansing conditioners in addition and my rank lowest to best as compared to Wen results : This HE Cleansing Conditioner seems to be a good alternative to Wen for me when my budget is low, but I'm still looking forward to ordering Wen in the future. I do think this helps my color last better like the Wen does as well. I have thick, coarse hair that is colored. Anyway, if I use this HE a 3 or 4 times a week, I have soft, shiny hair as with using Wen, but needing to use a 'shampoo' the other days and then this as a conditioner seem to keep my hair from getting just on the edge of greasy/heavy which is what using every day does. The whole point of cleansing conditioner was to get rid of the shampoo, so those directions kind of defeat my purpose.sigh. The directions state to use it every so many shampoos instead of every day as with the Wen and that seems to work best. I think this is very close to Wen in how my hair feels and looks. The first few times I wasted some- whoops! Each pump of the HE gives more product than a pump of Wen but it still isn't as much. Obviously the price is better than Wen products and it doesn't take as much product to get through my hair as the Wen does- 2 pumps versus 7-9 pumps. I do like the scent of this Herbal Essences cleansing conditioner.
